I was in the midst of watching a string of Italian giallo films from the '70s, and then this happened.
What started as a quick sketch (Fig. 1) evolved into a painting (Fig. 3) that I would've normally considered a finished piece.
I wanted to raise eyebrows but not necessarily turn eyes away.
When I came up with the title "Your Body Is Mine," I was further inspired to incorporate the title into it with a strategic placement (Fig. 5).
Since I was at it, I wanted to see if this style would really be practical and took a shot at creating a full one-sheet poster with it, making sure to honor the masters of the genre.
